Large scale bi-national evacuation exercise as part of the EU AWARE-bis project.
The exercise involved the actual displacement of close to 1,700 civilians from the Dutch town of Terneuzen and the Belgian town of Zelzate, as a consequence of a storm situation over the North Sea creating a strom surge near the coast and an industrial accident at a Seveso facility in Belgium.

Re-development of the site and corporate nuclear emergency plan for the Belgian nuclear power plant operator, in preparation of an IAEA OSART audit.
Over a period over more than one year, the entire nuclear emergency response concept and plan of the nuclear power generation site of Tihange (3 reactors) were redesigned and implemented.

International Coastal (CO) Flood (FL) Exercise (EX) as part of the EU 'Chain of Safety' project.
CEMAC was charged with the development of a new pre-standard for public sector coastal flood emergency plans and the organisation and evaluation of a two day bi-national coastal flood exercise.
